Welcome to Off The Couch
Hi and welcome, my name is CJ. I’m AuDHD – diagnosed autistic at 40, and ADHD at 42. In both instances I found myself diagnosed, and then flung out into the world without support, or knowing what on earth was going to happen next!
I really wanted to try and put a website together that would help those of us who find ourselves… a bit adrift after diagnosis, or just with the “WTF am I even doing?!” experience of being an Au/DHD adult by simply providing you with some content that hopefully resonates, and gives you comfort that you’re not alone in it all.
Anyone who works on this site (web design, graphics design, writers, advisors) are all paid for their contribution, and this is all currently funded by myself. So you will see the likes of display ads and affiliate links floating about, in the hopes that this site can fund itself in the future – sorry we have to play capitalism a little…!
